Here, I picture what the Maestro's arrival at the pearly gates must have been like, as he meets the brave musicians of the Titanic for the first time.
He did not know where he was. The last thing he remembered was his plane going down in a forest somewhere. All he saw in front of him was a staircase- "Odd.", he thought, it reminded him of something. At the end of the staircase, he saw two golden doors- beautifully carved. Above those doors were the words “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” He now realised where he was. He walked up the staircase and opened the door. He was surrounded by smiling men and women, some of which he had known. He saw a conductor's stand facing towards him, and he knew where to go. As he neared the conductor's stand, he looked to the seats around him to see eight men, looking even more jubilant than all the rest. He knew who they were, and he walked to them. "I'm Wallace", the proudest man said, as he handed him a golden baton with angel wings on it. Seeing those wings, he touched his head and touched something that gave him a funny feeling. A angelic halo hovered above his head! He asked Wallace, "Is that for me?" He replied with a proud "Yes." He then walked toward the conductor's stand and saw a choir and orchestra of angels and musicians. He looked down at the sheet music and smiled. "Hymn to the Sea.", he said. He had never felt more happy in his life. He raised his baton and began to conduct. That man's name is James Horner.
