I have a lot to talk about, don't I? So to start, despite being savagely treated by about half of the nation's critics, I loved The Accountant. However, I feel that my thoughts should be covered in a blog instead. So, what do I think? Its nearly cinematic perfection! Like a intricate puzzle, you have to pay close attention, as plot points that pop up early in the film return later with a vengeance. (other than a few mind boggling late plot twists). The acting by Ben Affleck as the titular accountant is spectacular, and you don't think much about how that is an OSCAR (R) winning actor on the screen. The action- well, they aren't afraid to be brutal when they need to! Everything else fits together in a neat little bow, such as the film's portrayal of autism- and having a high functioning variant of the disorder, I felt it was handled well. I guess you have to be a parent of someone with autism or have it to understand the film well. The Accountant is rated R for strong violence and language, and I give it four stars out of five. See it now! But these days, you know what doesn't fit in a neat little bow?
